This is a WWII-era German Luftschutz Kleine LS-Hausapotheke, a civil defense first aid box produced in 1942. The black pebbled-finish case features white stenciled lettering on the lid, a folding carrying handle, metal latch marked "Nazarally B. German Made," reinforced corners, and a hinged lid. The interior includes a four-compartment divider and retains its original printed contents inventory label headed “Kleine LS-Hausapotheke – Trocken aufbewahren!” The label identifies the manufacturer as W. Söhngen & Co. of Wiesbaden, a documented wartime supplier of medical and sanitary equipment. The original inventory, dated 1942, lists various emergency supplies, though none remain. Case measures approx. 11.25 x 6 x 10 inches and shows significant service wear, including scratches, scuffs, finish loss, oxidation to metal parts, and staining on both the dividers and the inventory label. A Luftschutzgesetz approval stamp from Timmermann & Wollet, Heidelberg, is also present.
