German WWII M31 Feldflasche Canteen With Cup CFL

Produced in 1939, this German WWII M31 field canteen features an aluminum body enclosed in a brown felt cover with four side metal snap closures, an aluminum screw cap, and a black-painted aluminum cup. The top of the aluminum cap and the handle attachment plate on the cup are both clearly stamped CFL 39 for Carl Feldhaus, Lüdenscheid. The assembly includes a complete black leather harness system with a long leather shoulder strap and a metal snap clip. This example displays fair, honest service wear throughout, including paint chipping and finish wear to the black metal cup, light surface scuffing on the aluminum cap, minor tarnish on hardware, and age-related wear or cracking across the leather harness and shoulder strap. It measures 10 x 7 inches. A complete, matching-marked WWII field gear setup with its original leather harness, presenting extremely well for historical displays or militaria collections.
