This lot features a pair of original oil on hardboard paintings by Aleksey Chebotaru, depicting colorful village scenes in a vibrant Impressionist style. The smaller work, titled “Sun and Snow,” depicts a sunlit village street with colorful buildings and a prominent gnarled tree. Signed in red script in the lower right. The reverse bears handwritten inscriptions including the artist’s name, title, medium, and dimensions 30 x 40 cm. Both paintings show minor expected handling and edge wear, including light bumping to the hardboard corners. The painted surfaces appear stable and well preserved overall.
