A large, rectangular leaded glass window panel featuring an architectural portico design. The scene portrays four columns with ornate capitals overlooking a lush garden of white blossoms with yellow centers, reminiscent of dogwood. Thebackground depicts a scenic landscape with rolling mountains under a variegated sky composed of deep blue and purple opalescent glass. A vibrant orange and yellow horizontal band suggests a river or sunset horizon. The panel is constructedwith numerous hand-cut pieces of marbled slag, textured, and cathedral glass held by lead cames with a dark patina. Geometric borders in shades of green, blue, and lavender frame the top and bottom of the composition. A small whiteadhesive inventory sticker is present on the lower left-hand side of the glass panel, printed with the numerals 2113. The piece is set into a dark-stained wooden frame. 38 inches tall by 24 inches wide.This large leaded glass window panel shows expected wear consistent with its age and use. The glass is in good condition, with just on visible cracks, the wooden frame remains structurally sound.
