This Korean celadon stoneware vase features a globular body decorated with a sanggam inlaid pattern of flying cranes in white and black slip. The vessel is finished in a green crackle glaze with a short, rolled neck. The base displays the hand-painted black characters reading Songrim, beside a small red square seal mark. 10 inches tall, approximately 12 inches wide. The vase is in excellent condition with no visible chips, cracks, or repairs. The fine network of crazing throughout the glaze is a characteristic design feature. The unglazed base shows minor surface soiling consistent with age and handling.
