An oil painting by Anthony Thieme depicting a beached fishing vessel with partially unfurled sails. A painted signature at the bottom center reads a t h i e m e with an underline. The work is housed in a dark-stained wooden frame featuringa rope-twist motif and beaded inner border. A professional framing label for Pegasus art and frame and a handwritten inventory sticker reading 3 6 4 3 are affixed to the verso. Frame: 17 1/4 inches by 20 1/2 inches Painting: 10 inches by13 1/2 inches.The painting is in fair overall condition with evident toning to the support and scattered spots of foxing in the sky (Photo 2). The cream-colored double matting similarly displays several visible brown foxing marks (Photo 1).
