This nocturnal winter landscape, executed in oil on canvas, depicts a stone residence partially obscured by a large, leafless tree. The artist utilizes loose, expressive brushwork and thick impasto to suggest heavy snow under a deep bluetwilight sky. A single illuminated window casts a warm yellow glow across the foreground. The work is signed JSCOTT WOLF in the lower right and is presented in a modern giltwood frame.
