2 pieces by Joan Miro color lithographs from "Miro Artigas 1956, Pierre Matisse", featuring the artist's distinctive Surrealist imagery of whimsical biomorphic forms, expressive line, and vibrant fields of red, blue, green, yellow, black, and white. One work incorporates text and symbolic imagery from Artigas Torres de Grand Feu, while the second presents bold abstract forms and playful linear elements characteristic of Miro's celebrated graphic style. Each bears a signature in crayon and was published after the artist's original graphic works. A visually engaging pair representing the imaginative and highly recognizable graphic language of one of the twentieth century's most influential modern artists. Excellent condition for age, paper shows toning. Bifold measures 14" x 8", quad fold measures 27.5" x 8".
