Pablo Picasso (Spanish, 1881–1973), La Comedie Humaine, 31.1.54 II, 1954. Original color lithograph from La Comedie Humaine, published in Verve, Vol. VIII, Nos. 29–30 (Teriade, Paris, 1954), printed by Mourlot Freres, Paris. The composition depicts a monumental seated nude confronting an angular male figure rendered with Picasso's distinctive continuous contour lines and subtle accents of blue, violet, olive and red. Plate dated 31.1.54 II upper right and signed in the stone lower right. Signed in red crayon lower right. Measures 14" x 10.25" Published by Editions Verve, Paris. Condition Appears to be in very good overall condition with bright colors, clean margins, and no significant condition issues visible.
