Pablo Picasso (Spanish, 1881–1973), La Comedie Humaine, 27.1.54 I, 1954. Original color lithograph from the celebrated La Comedie Humaine suite, published in Verve, Vol. VIII, Nos. 29–30 (Teriade, Paris, 1954) and printed by Mourlot Freres (Mourlot Studios), Paris. Depicting a seated nude woman in conversation with a corpulent male figure before a bold black background, rendered in Picasso's expressive linear style with vibrant hand-drawn color. Signed in red crayon lower left and dated in the stone with printed plate notation 27.1.54 I lower left. Unframed. Condition Appears to be in very good overall condition with strong colors, clean margins and no significant condition issues visible from the photographs. Measures 14" x 10.25"
