Pablo Picasso (Spanish, 1881–1973), La Comedie Humaine, 31.1.54 VIII, 1954. Original color lithograph from the celebrated La Comedie Humaine suite, published in Verve, Vol. VIII, Nos. 29-30 (Teriade, Paris, 1954) and printed by Mourlot Freres (Mourlot Studios), Paris. Depicting a whimsical scene of a costumed figure, horse and rider, and standing nude in Picasso's expressive linear style with vibrant hand-drawn color. Signed in red crayon lower right and dated in the stone with printed edition notation lower right. Unframed. Measures 14" x 10.25".
