Pablo Picasso (Spanish, 1881–1973) La Comedie Humaine, 3.2.54 I, 1954. Original color lithograph from the celebrated La Comedie Humaine suite, published in Verve, Vol. VIII, Nos. 29–30 (Teriade, Paris, 1954) and printed by Mourlot Freres (Mourlot Studios), Paris. Depicting a seated nude observing an artist at an easel with a stylized figure, executed in Picasso's distinctive late linear style. Signed and dated in the stone with printed edition notation lower left. Signed in red crayon lower left. Unframed. Minor handling wear consistent with age. Measures 14" x 10.25".
