This February 1936 Issue 3 of the German air defense magazine Die Sirene (The Siren), published in Berlin by the Reichsluftschutzbund, measures 15 by 11 inches. The wraps feature a full-color graphic signed by Ch. Girod displaying an early 1908 monoplane alongside falling aerial bombs over an industrial district, accompanied by the text 1908 und 1935 (1908 and 1935). Inside, the double-page photo spread titled Rohstoffe, die Weltpolitik machen IV. Kohle (Raw Materials That Make World Politics IV. Coal) details the industrial uses of coal, including explosive production, fuel oils, and synthetic materials. Condition shows light edge wear and age toning.
