This late February 1936 Issue 4 of the German air defense magazine Die Sirene (The Siren), published in Berlin by the Reichsluftschutzbund, measures 15 by 11 inches. The full-color wraps feature artwork monogrammed "HR" titled Eisen (Iron), depictingan industrial foundry worker operate a heavy searchlight or equipment against a shipyard crane backdrop. Inside, an illustrated interior section covers industrial steel manufacturing and iron ore production statistics, accompanied by photos of largemachinery and data charts comparing global production from 1840 to 1913. Condition shows light edge wear, minor corner creasing, and typical age toning along the paper borders.
