This softcover publication titled Danzig, edited by Richard and Gisela Mönnig, was published in 1939 by the Terramare Office in Berlin. The front paper cover features a color reproduction of an early view of Danzig, while the back cover shows a redcrest emblem flanked by lions. The title page includes a printed quote from Adolf Hitler dated April 28, 1939: Danzig ist eine deutsche Stadt, und sie will zu Deutschland, translating to "Danzig is a German city, and it wants to belong to Germany." Written in English, the text discusses the history and culture of Danzig accompanied by full-page black and white photo illustrations of landmark sites, including the historic Rathaus. The booklet measures 9 by 6 inches. Condition shows creasing to the covers, edge wear, spine fraying, and light paper toning throughout.
