Published in 1934 by Hummelverlag (Verlag und Versand für Deutsche Literatur, Hans Eugen Hummel) in Berlin NW 7, this original German hardcover volume is authored by Gerd Rühle, Regierungsrat a. D. R., and is titled Das Dritte Reich: Dokumentarische Darstellung des Aufbaues der Nation. Das erste Jahr 1933 (The Third Reich: Documentary Representation of the Building of the Nation. The First Year 1933). Created with the support of the German Reich Archive (Deutschen Reichsarchivs) and featuringa formal approval notice from the NSDAP party examining commission on the preliminary pages, the volume includes numerous photographs and historical documents. Bound in quarter leather with cloth-covered boards, raised spine bands, and gilt Fraktur lettering, the book measures 10.75 x 7 inches. The quarter leather spine shows edge rubbing, light corner wear, and surface scuffing, while the cloth boards display mild discoloration and handling spots. Interior pages remain securely bound and complete, showing expected marginal paper toning.
