Crafted from hollow molded plastic in the late 1930s to 1940s, this Winterhilfswerk (WHW) street donation pin depicts a uniformed serviceman in a dark jacket, garrison cap, and tie. Distributed in Germany as a badge for street relief contributions, this figure stands 2 inches tall. A metal pin back assembly is secured to the reverse mounting plate. The piece exhibits surface wear, paint loss on the jacket and cap, fine scratches, and oxidation across the metal pin hardware and back plate.
