WWII German WHW Folk & Police Token Pins

Dating to World War II, this pair of hand-painted, hollow-molded early-plastic pins depicts a figure in traditional attire wearing a brimmed hat and carrying a stringed instrument alongside a uniformed traffic policeman directing traffic. Issued as Winterhilfswerk (WHW) donation tokens, the left pin belongs to a traditional folk series while the right pin represents a civil occupation series. The folk figure retains its metal pin assembly, while the traffic policeman is missing its reverse pin hardware. Both figures stand 2 inches tall with no visible maker's marks. Condition includes paint loss, surface scratches, light chips, soiling, and discoloration. The traffic policeman shows heavier facial and uniform wear, a damaged extended hand, and small reverse mold openings. Oxidation is present on the remaining metal hardware.
