Dating to the mid-20th century, these U.S. military cold-weather ankle boots feature black leather uppers and a two-eyelet lace-up closure over rubber composition soles. An interior leather tag confirms construction details, reading "Innersole of Man Made Matl" alongside size 9, contract code 4J 42077, and specification 6061-103. Heavy wear is visible throughout, including severe leather cracking, surface loss, splitting along the vamp flex points, and complete material blowouts with missing leather at the heels. Synthetic lining shows age wear and hair loss, while the soles display smooth wear from service.
