Dating to World War II, this pair of hand-painted, hollow-molded plastic pins depicts German pilots in flight gear, featuring head coverings with goggles, tunics, rifles, and black boots. Issued as Winterhilfswerk (WHW) donation tokens, these pieces belong to a series of street campaign pins highlighting various military personnel. Both figures measure 2 inches tall with no visible maker's marks. Each is missing its reverse pin hardware and displays paint loss, discoloration, surface scratches, and soiling. One pin shows adhesive residue on the reverse, while the other exhibits widespread cracking, a damaged pin mount, and a circular mold opening.
