This softcover commemorative book, published in 1935 by Cigaretten-Bilderdienst Altona-Bahrenfeld, is the second part of the series documenting the evolution of German film, with a focus on sound film. Authored by Dr. Oskar Kalbus, the book features a blue cover displaying a portrait of Gebuhr, and embossed titles. The publication was produced during the Third Reich (1933-1945) and contains both extensive text and high-quality photographic portraits of period film stars, chronicling important milestones in German cinema technology. Minor surface scuffing is present on the cover, with light internal yellowing of pages. The book measures approximately 12 x 9 inches and is complete, containing all photos. The volume serves as a visual and textual record of German film history from an industry perspective.
