ca. early-mid 19th century; 1. Undated, show towel of "Susan A. Hackmenin" (Hackman family) bleached cotton muslin-weave long towel with applied fringed network initialed bottom. The towel has a fold over top with blue-red embroidered sample alphabet line, followed by maker's name and additional 18 - traditional Pennsylvania German figural samples, including: birds on stems, chairs, flowers, crowns, etc., 16 1/2" x 38"L, Condition: minor fading and soiling spots. Some loss of threads with networked bottom. 2. Unknown maker, undated, bleach homespun linen with networked bottom. The bottom panel has network and tassel fringe and darned designs of diamond-topped flowers, snowflakes, oversized tulip, 15 1/2" x 53"L, Condition: Soiling spots, otherwise good
