ca. mid-late 19th century; Attributed to Whales, this puck shape round print is finely carved on both faces: Side A with compass star or windmill carved print face with geometric double-line border; Side B with elaborate Celtic knot and hearts central pattern with three-part banded border and lathe turned gouge carved grasp-ring; 4 3/8" dia. X 3/4"; Condition: Unfortunately, print face B has old glue-down of partial split-out. A small chip is missing from border design.
