ca. mid-late 19th century; Each print shop lathe turned single piece with rounded handle and chip carved design: 1. Attributed to "Vigilant Cow Shop", deep carved eight-point star with leaflet accents to tips of points and border incised with chip carved pie-crimp edge, 3 3/4" dia. X 2 7/8", Condition: wear to edge from use. 2. Later era English (?) six-pointed star with variegation, small sprig accents and rope-twist and incised border, 3 5/8" dia. X 3", Condition: very good.
