ca. 1870; Salt glazed slightly ovoid stoneware batter jug with brushed cobalt daubs on applied pair of pierced shoulder tabs, cobalt ring around tubular pouring spout base, daubs on applied hand grasp terminals and cobalt infill on impressed " NA White & Co Binghamton / 4 " (Nicholas A. White). Flattened rounded rim, impressed shoulder ring and wood and wire bail handle, Albany slip glaze interior; 8 5/8" high, 8 5/8" diam; Condition: 1/2" rim line.
