ca. 1870; Salt glazed slightly bulbous stoneware jug, brushed cobalt tulip bud and spitting tulip design, daubs on handle terminals, flattened angled rim with incised ring, pair of impressed collar rings, impressed "Cowden & Wilcox, Harrisburg, PA / 2", Albany slip glaze interior; 13 1/2" high, 9 1/4" diam; Condition: Shallow 1 3/8" rim flake, blistered cobalt.
