A collection of approximately 38 pieces of vintage American sheet music dating primarily from the 1910s through the early 1930s. The assortment includes popular Tin Pan Alley hits, movie musical themes, novelty songs, andragtime-influenced melodies. The pieces are printed on paper and feature various graphic styles, including Art Deco and late Art Nouveau cover illustrations. Several pieces include photographic portraits of early 20th-century performersand movie stars. Notable titles in the collection include Sunny Side Up featuring Janet Gaynor and Charles Farrell, Al Jolson in The Singing Fool featuring There's a Rainbow 'Round My Shoulder, Pink Elephants featured by Guy Lombardo, andAuntie Skinner's Chicken Dinner featured by Ruth Roye. Other titles transcribed from covers include You Brought Ireland Right Over to Me, I'm The Guy, Hello Hawaii How Are You, I'm All Bound 'Round With The Mason Dixon Line, Put Me toItems show general toning and yellowing consistent with age. Visible condition issues include moderate edge wear, bumped corners, and minor tears along the margins of several sheets. Some pieces exhibit light foxing, minor surface soiling.
