This lot contains approximately 36 vintage sheet music folios, primarily from the early 1900s through the mid-1930s. The collection features a variety of American popular musical genres including Ragtime, Tin Pan Alley, early film scores,and Broadway theatrical productions. Notable film-related pieces include Going Hollywood with Bing Crosby and Marion Davies, and San Francisco with Clark Gable and Jeanette MacDonald, both published by Robbins Music Corporation, 799Seventh Avenue, New York. Theatrical and Vaudeville items include Bagdad from Sinbad featuring Al Jolson, My Sunny Tennessee as sung by Eddie Cantor, and Yip-I-Addy-I-Ay featuring Blanche Ring. The collection contains several ragtime andnovelty titles including The Skeleton Rag by Edward Madden and Percy Wenrich, published by Jerome H. Remick and Co., Wild Cherries by Ted Snyder, That Dixie Dip Rag, and The Ragtime Goblin Man. Other identified titles include Hindustan byAll items are stored in individual clear plastic protective sleeves. The paper exhibits general age-related toning and yellowing, especially at the margins. Condition issues include minor edge wear such as fraying and small chips.
