A large collection of approximately 44 vintage sheet music folios primarily dating from the 1920s through the 1950s. This assortment encompasses a broad range of American popular songs, themes from early sound cinema (talkies), andBroadway musical theater selections. Prominent titles included in the lot are Without a Song from The Prodigal featuring Lawrence Tibbett, Mon Homme (My Man) as sung by Fanny Brice in Ziegfeld Follies of 1921, Singin' in the Rain fromHollywood Revue of 1929, and Isn't It Romantic? featuring Maurice Chevalier from Love Me Tonight. Other notable pieces include I'm Doing What I'm Doing for Love with Sophie Tucker, Look for the Silver Lining from Sally by Jerome Kern,Tangerine featuring Julia Sanderson, In a Shanty in Old Shanty Town, and the theme song for the film Submarine titled Pals, Just Pals. Many covers feature vibrant lithographed Art Deco illustrations or photographic portraits of era starsOverall good vintage condition.
