This group consists of approximately 20 antique cylinder records manufactured by Thomas A. Edison, Inc. These are 4-minute Blue Amberol recordings, characterized by a blue celluloid playing surface over a plaster composition core. Thecollection spans various early 20th-century genres including popular songs, operatic excerpts, instrumentals, and comedy. Most cylinders feature incised white text around the top rim indicating the catalog number, title, and performer.Notable items in this collection include Special E Scenes That Are Brightest Saxophone Solo by H.
