One lot comprising two framed decorative works. The first is an oval mechanical print titled Portrait of a Lady, after a miniature by the French artist Etienne Pouchadry. The subject is depicted in 19th-century Romantic-style dress with puffed sleeves and floral accents in her hair. The print is presented behind glass within a gilt inner border, mounted on a rectangular burgundy velvet panel, and set into an ornate, gold-toned openwork composite frame featuring scrolled acanthus motifs. The reverse of the frame retains two gold-coloured foil labels: a circular mark for A Cameo Creation with a silhouette logo, and a rectangular label inscribed Portrait of a Lady BY ETIENNE POUCHADRY. The second item is a mid-century style needlepoint depicting an abstract, stylised floral or bird-of-paradise motif. The design is worked in orange, red, yellow, and blue wool thread against a dark green ground. It is housed in a tiered wooden frame with a red-painted outer rim, a linen-covered mount, and a gilt inner fillet. Both items have small pieces of green masking tape with handwritten notes adhered to the front. Condition: Both items appear to be in good overall condition with minor age-appropriate wear to the frames. The needlepoint remains vibrant with no visible staining, fading, or loose threads. The portrait print and its velvet mount are well-preserved. Both pieces retain their original glass and backings.
