Burgo Revolver .22 Short

Updated August 24, 2026

This Burgo double-action/single-action revolver is chambered in .22 Short and offers a compact European-style pocket-revolver configuration. Serial number 1180168, this example features an approximately 2.5" barrel with a shiny bore and is in fair overall condition. The revolver utilizes a compact metal frame with an exposed hammer, swing-out cylinder, and traditional grip profile. The firearm currently needs work to operate properly and should be professionally inspected and repaired prior to use. Burgo-marked revolvers are commonly encountered among older imported European handguns and represent the affordable small-caliber revolver market of the mid-20th century. Chambered in .22 Short, this example has the petite proportions and straightforward styling typical of pocket revolvers from the period. With its shiny bore, vintage appearance, and unusual chambering, this Burgo may appeal to collectors of inexpensive European handguns or buyers looking for a compact restoration project.
