Bryco Arms Jennings J-22 .22LR

Updated August 24, 2026

This Bryco Arms Jennings J-22 semi-automatic pistol is chambered in .22 LR and represents a compact pocket-pistol design from the value-oriented end of the American handgun market. Serial number 135291, this example features an approximately 2.5" barrel with a dark bore and is in fair overall condition. The pistol utilizes a compact metal frame with synthetic grip panels paired with a small steel slide, creating the simple proportions associated with the J-22 platform. One magazine is included. This pistol currently needs work to operate properly and should be professionally inspected and repaired before use. Jennings and later Bryco-produced pistols became widely recognized as economical compact handguns during the latter decades of the 20th century, and the J-22 was one of the company’s best-known rimfire offerings. With its compact dimensions, included magazine, and vintage budget-pistol character, this example may appeal to a collector, gunsmith, or project-minded buyer. Please see photos.
