Charter Arms Pathfinder .22LR

Updated August 24, 2026

This Charter Arms Pathfinder double-action/single-action revolver is chambered in .22 LR and offers a compact rimfire configuration from a long-established American revolver manufacturer. Serial number 782238, this example features an approximately 3" barrel with a shiny bore and is in fair overall condition. The revolver is built around a metal frame with an exposed hammer, swing-out cylinder, and traditional grip profile. The cylinder is currently locked and will not operate properly, meaning the revolver needs work before it can function as intended. It should be professionally inspected and repaired prior to use. Charter Arms introduced the Pathfinder as a small-frame rimfire revolver suitable for recreational use and training, and the model has remained a recognizable part of the company’s lineup. With its compact dimensions, shiny bore, classic DA/SA design, and project status, this example offers an interesting opportunity for the gunsmith or rimfire revolver enthusiast. Please see photos.
