This RG Industries RG31 double-action/single-action revolver is chambered in .38 Special and offers a traditional compact revolver configuration from the value-oriented end of the late-20th-century American handgun market. Serial number Q214453, this example features an approximately 2" barrel with a shiny bore and is in fair overall condition. The revolver utilizes a compact metal frame with an exposed hammer, swing-out cylinder, and traditional grip arrangement. Plenty of visible handling, finish, and age-related wear is present throughout the firearm, giving it a distinctly well-used appearance. RG Industries became known for producing inexpensive handguns designed to compete at an accessible price point, and surviving examples can be interesting representatives of that era of American firearm sales. With its compact dimensions, classic .38 Special chambering, shiny bore, and honest cosmetic wear, this RG31 offers plenty of vintage budget-revolver character. Please see photos. RG Ind.
