Remington Model 770 .308 WIN

Updated August 24, 2026

This Remington Model 770 bolt-action rifle is chambered in .308 Winchester and is being offered as an incomplete project or parts rifle. Serial number M72067215, this example features an approximately 22" barrel with a dark bore and is in poor overall condition. The rifle utilizes a synthetic sporting stock paired with a steel receiver and barrel assembly. Significant rust is present throughout the firearm, reflecting heavy storage or environmental exposure. The magazine and bolt are both missing, leaving the rifle incomplete and unable to operate in its current configuration. It will require replacement components, extensive cleaning, and professional inspection before any consideration of use. Remington developed the Model 770 as a value-oriented bolt-action hunting rifle, and the .308 Winchester chambering remains one of the most popular sporting cartridges in America. In its present condition, this example is best suited to the gunsmith, parts buyer, or restoration-minded bidder. Please see photos. Remington Model 770 .308 WIN Bolt 22 Dark M72067215 Poor
