Mossberg Maverick Model 88 12ga

Updated August 24, 2026

This Mossberg Maverick Model 88 is a pump-action shotgun chambered in 12 gauge and fitted with an approximately 28" ventilated-rib barrel with a shiny bore. Serial number MV03568X, this example is in fair overall condition. Most importantly, the action is currently seized and the shotgun will need mechanical work before operation should be attempted. It is being offered accordingly as a repair or project firearm. Manufactured within the Mossberg family, the Maverick 88 utilizes a proven pump-action design closely related to the Mossberg 500 and has become a familiar economical sporting and utility shotgun. The longer ribbed barrel gives this example a traditional field configuration. Potential buyers should carefully review the photographs for the firearm's overall cosmetic and mechanical condition and anticipate repairs prior to use. Please see photos.
