Taurus Model 605 .357 Magnum

This Taurus Model 605 double-action/single-action revolver is chambered in powerful .357 Magnum and features the classic compact snub-nose profile for which the model is known. Serial number JX71894, this example features an approximately 2" barrel with a shiny bore and is in fair overall condition with normal handling and finish wear. The revolver utilizes a compact metal frame with an exposed hammer, swing-out cylinder, and traditional grip arrangement. The cylinder comes out or does not remain properly retained, indicating a mechanical issue that will need attention before the revolver can operate safely. It should be professionally inspected and repaired prior to use. Taurus has produced the Model 605 for decades as one of its signature compact .357 Magnum revolvers, combining substantial chambering with very manageable dimensions.
