Sportsarms HS38S .38 SPL

Updated August 24, 2026

This Sportsarms HS38S double-action/single-action revolver is chambered in .38 Special and offers a traditional compact wheelgun configuration. Serial number 39244, this example features an approximately 3.1" barrel with a shiny bore and is in fair overall condition. The revolver utilizes a metal frame with an exposed hammer, swing-out cylinder, and traditional grip panels. Considerable wear is present on both the grips and the revolver itself, giving the firearm a well-used appearance. Portions of the cylinder-eject button are missing, so the revolver will need attention to restore the ejector release to proper configuration and should be inspected before use. Compact .38 Special revolvers have long been a staple of the American handgun market, valued for their simple operation and traditional styling. With its shiny bore, classic DA/SA action, and visibly worn character, this Sportsarms revolver presents an interesting project or inexpensive collector piece. Please see photos.
