Seven pieces of glassware, nine parts counting two lids, and the key point for bidders is that all seven are pressed rather than cut. The piece most likely to be mistaken for cut, the covered jar with a pinwheel and star band, has shallow mitres with soft rounded intersections and a vertical mold seam running straight through the pinwheel, so it is imitation cut. The group comprises a tall covered footed compote in light blue about 11 and three quarter inches with a diamond point body and a pointed multi knop finial, a covered footed compote about 6 inches, the covered cylindrical jar about 6 and a half inches, a flared fluted trumpet vase about 7 and a half inches, a diamond point spooner about 5 inches, a Sandwich type bowl about 7 and a half inches, and a hobnail band bowl about 5 inches. Condition is fair with brown staining in the pattern recesses throughout. Sold as-is. Photos are the most accurate description of this lot.
