Arrow Back Windsor Swivel Desk Chair

Arrow back swivel desk chair in the Windsor idiom, in solid hardwood with a reddish cherry toned stain. Seven arrow shaped slats stand within a bent bow above a saddle shaped seat, over a four arm wood pedestal base riding on four brass capped casters. It measures about 36 and a half inches to the crest with the seat at roughly 18 inches. This is a modern reproduction of the form rather than a period chair. The swivel mechanism is complete with its spring housing, tilt plate and tension knob, and all four casters are present with intact wheels, but neither the swivel nor the casters was demonstrated in the photos. There is no crack in the seat, confirmed under magnification. No maker mark survives, only an illegible torn label remnant. Condition is good with small dark specks on the seat and a light abrasion at center front. Sold as-is. Photos are the most accurate description of this lot.
