A pair of Canadian silver 50-cent coins, also known as half dollars, dated 1963 and 1964. These coins are struck in an 80% silver alloy. The obverse displays the laureate right-facing portrait of Queen Elizabeth II with the Latin legend ELIZABETH II DEI GRATIA REGINA. The reverse design features the Canadian coat of arms, supported by a lion and a unicorn and surmounted by a crown. The reverse is inscribed CANADA above, with the denomination 50 CENTS and the respective dates 1963 and 1964 below. Both coins are finished with reeded edges. No mint marks are present, consistent with standard production from the Royal Canadian Mint in Ottawa.
