This Canadian currency issue is a one dollar denomination coin dated 1965. It is struck in .800 fine silver. The obverse features the Arnold Machin portrait of Queen Elizabeth II with the legend ELIZABETH II D G REGINA. The reverse carries the Voyageur design and is inscribed CANADA, 1965, and DOLLAR. The designer's initials EH are located on the reverse. The coin features a reeded edge.
