A pair of Canadian silver 25-cent coins struck during the reign of Queen Victoria. The collection includes one 1872-H specimen featuring the Laureate Head portrait on the obverse and the H mint mark for the Heaton Mint, Birmingham, on the reverse. The second specimen is dated 1901 and features the Veiled Head or Old Head portrait. Both coins are composed of .925 fine sterling silver and feature reeded edges. The obverse of each coin bears the legend VICTORIA DEI GRATIA REGINA with CANADA below the truncation. The reverse of each displays the denomination and date within a wreath of maple leaves surmounted by a crown. Any associated hallmarks are unconfirmed and flagged for recheck.
