A collection of coinage comprising Canadian 50-cent pieces and a United Kingdom half crown. The Canadian coins are dated 1965 and 1966 and are struck in 80 per cent silver (.800 fineness). Their reverses feature the Coat of Arms of Canada with the legends CANADA and 50 CENTS, alongside a ribbon bearing the motto A MARI USQUE AD MARE. The obverses display the tiara portrait of Queen Elizabeth II with the legend ELIZABETH II D G REGINA. The United Kingdom half crown is dated 1956 and struck in cupro-nickel. Its reverse shows a crowned shield flanked by the Royal Cypher E R, with the legends FID DEF and HALF CROWN. The obverse features the laureate portrait of Elizabeth II.
