An assortment of silver-plated tableware and a decorative glass object. The collection includes a circular Newport silver-plated gallery tray featuring a heavily chased and repoussé central field with scrolling foliage, floral motifs, and diaper-work lattice panels around a central plain circular reserve. The tray is designed with a pierced openwork gallery and a gadrooned rope-twist rim. Marks to the underside include a hexagon containing a G, NEWPORT / SILVERPLATE, three pseudo-hallmark shields, and model number YB 165. Also present is a circular bowl with a chased foliate and floral design to the centre, a pierced gallery of oval apertures, and a rope-twist rim, bearing an original sticker for MAXBEN / E.P. IRON / MADE IN HONG KONG. The group is completed by a pair of Mud Pie spreaders with handles modelled in the form of fish and a cylindrical glass votive holder with a silvered, distressed mercury glass style finish. Dimensions (measured against a tape measure): Tray diameter approx. 32 cm Bowl diameter approx. 14 cm Spreaders length approx. 13 cm. Condition: The items exhibit surface wear, minor scratches, and areas of tarnishing throughout, consistent with age and occasional use. The glass votive holder features a distressed silvered finish.
