A set of glazed ceramic plates produced for Williams-Sonoma, comprising one large platter and four salad or dessert plates. The pieces feature botanical and farm-themed transfer decorations in a watercolor style, depicting tomatoes, pomegranates, olives, artichokes, and a rooster. Each illustration is set against a background of cursive script and is finished with a hand-painted yellow rim. The underside of each plate is printed with a signature for designer Michelle Savage and specifies they were made in Portugal exclusively for Williams-Sonoma in 2009. Diameter of large platter approx. 12.5 inches (measured against a ruler) Diameter of salad or dessert plates approx. 8.5 inches (measured against a ruler). Condition: The items are in very good overall condition with no visible chips, cracks, or repairs. Minor surface wear is consistent with light use.
