A vintage mid-century portable metal ice chest manufactured by Poloron Products Inc. of New Rochelle, New York. The cooler features a bright red painted steel exterior accented with a decorative embossed grid pattern. The front side isprinted in white with a script logo reading Cola Cooler and specifies fiberglass insulation. It is equipped with a pivoting metal bale handle featuring a central shaped grip, an integrated metal bottle opener on one side, and a blackplastic drain plug. The interior is a large rectangular compartment lined with galvanized metal. 14.75 x 12 x 14 inches.This cooler shows expected age-related wear including surface oxidation and paint loss primarily to the base and edges. The piece retains an authentic weathered patina consistent with its vintage character.
