An assortment of vintage industrial and agricultural items featuring an Eagle Manufacturing Company oil can. The oil can, model number 402, is constructed from heavy 26-gauge steel with a seamless drawn body and a double-seamed bottom. Itfeatures a blue painted finish with a yellow and black screen-printed label reading New Style, New Construction, New Shape. The label includes the Eagle logo and manufacturer information from Wellsburg, West Virginia. The can is fittedwith a wooden bail handle and a threaded top filler neck. Included is a large industrial funnel made of steel with a conical body and tapered filler spout. The collection also contains a rectangular wooden storage crate assembled with wirenails and a traditional wood slat bushel basket with two wooden hoops and wire side handles. Oil can capacity: 2 Gallons.These items exhibit expected vintage character and surface wear consistent with age and industrial use. The metal pieces show a naturally weathered patina and surface oxidation, while the wood elements show typical grain wear and aging. Oil can capacity: 2 Gallons.
