This contemporary cast Durastone sculpture is manufactured by Austin Sculpture and titled Memories, model number AP3579. The work depicts a semi-nude female figure in a reclining pose, leaning against a heavily textured rocky outcroppingthat serves as the integral base. The figure is finished in a warm bronze-toned metallic patina, while the flowing drapery wrapped around her lower body features a contrasting silver-toned metallic finish. The sculpture is incised with theartist signature Alice Heath on the rocky base. The lower rear of the base features the incised mark Austin SCULPTURE followed by a copyright symbol and the date 1979. The underside of the sculpture is covered in gray felt and retains twooriginal manufacturer labels, one identifying the maker as Austin Sculpture and the other listing the model number AP3579, the title Memories, and the barcode. 16.5 inches tall.This sculpture remains in good condition with minor finish wear and chips to the lower foot and drapery consistent with age and material.
